Húsfreyja. Var á Aralæk, Þingeyrasókn, A-Hún. 1930. Síðast bús. í Reykjavík. Ingunn Helga Níelsdóttir fæddist 17. desember 1923. Útför Ingunnar fer fram frá Fossvogskirkju í dag og hefst athöfnin klukkan 15.

Foreldrar hennar voru ættaðir úr Húnaþingi, Halldóra Guðrún Ívarsdóttir, f. 1887, d. 1967, og Níels Hafstein Sveinsson, f. 1876, d. 1930, og höfðu áður setið á Ytri- Kóngsbakka í Helgafellssveit, en fluttust síðar að Þingeyrum, þar sem Níels hafði búið í upphafi aldarinnar ásamt móður sinni og bróður, og þaðan í frá í Þingeyrarseli vestan Vatnadalshálsa allt til ársins 1930 er Níels hrapaði til bana í Víðidalsfjalli og heimilið leystist upp.
Þeim hjónum varð tíu barna auðið en tvo drengi, Svein og Ívar, misstu þau kornunga, 1910 og 1911, en önnur börn þeirra eru: 1) Ívar, f. 1912, 2) Jóhanna f. 1914, d. 1940, 3) María f. 1916, d. 1973, 4) Ingibjörg, f. 1918, 5) Rósa f. 1920, d. 1995, 6) Ingunn f. 1923, 7) Helga, f. 1926, og 8) Elsa, f. 1930.
Áður átti Ingunn
1) Sævar, f. 1949, kvæntur Ingibjörgu Gestsdóttur.
Eftirlifandi eiginmaður Ingunnar er Hlynur Júlíusson, f. 1925 á Svalbarðsströnd, og eru börn þeirra
2) Júlíus, f. 1951, m. Hulda Gunnarsdóttir; og
3) Helga, f. 1956.
