Nýbýli úr fjórðahluta Sauðaness. Landið liggur fram í Sauðanesi milli Laxárvatns og Laxár á Ásum. Þar hefur eigandi tekið land undir skógrækt og girt það. Plantað hefur verið í það frá 1955 og flest ár all miklu. Skammt frá stíflunni við Laxárvatn er sumarhús byggt 1955 úr timbri 87 m3.
Þá hefur verið ræktað 5 ha tún sem ábúandi Sauðaness nytjar ásamt því landi, sem ekki hefur verið tekið undir skógræktar. Veiðiréttur í Laxá á Ásum og Laxárvatni.
