Húskona á Kornsá, Undirfellssókn, A-Hún. 1930. Húsfreyja að Hurðarbaki, Torfalækjarhr., A-Hún. Síðast bús. í Skeiðahreppi.
Vorið sem hún fermdist var hún send í vist til vandalausra. Eins og þá var algengt varð fólk að fara að vinna fyrir sér svo fljótt sem það gat. Ári seinna missti hún móður sína og verður eftir það að sjá um sig að öllu leyti sjálf, en pabbi hennar hefur yngri systur hennar hjá sér.

Björg Karólína Erlendsdóttir eða Bogga, eins og hún var oftast kölluð, var fædd á Blönduósi 4. júlí 1899, foreldrar hennar voru Guðrún Helgadóttir f. 12.7.1860 - 2.4.1914 Vinnukona á Hnjúkum, Hjaltabakkasókn, Hún. 1890 og maður hennar 1892 Erlendur Björnsson f. 20.12. 1865 - 26.3.1929 Verkamaður í Erlendarbæ (Vinaminni) 1908 Miðsvæði (Erlendarhús) 1901.
Á Blönduósi ólst hún upp hjá foreldrum sínum ásamt tveimur systkinum.
1) Björn Erlendsson f. 29. september 1892 - 21. nóvember 1900.
2) Erlendína Marlaug Erlendsdóttir f. 26. júlí 1905 - 16. febrúar 1989. Lausakona á Kornsá, Undirfellssókn, A-Hún. 1930. Síðast bús. í Reykjavík.
Þann 15. apríl 1928 giftist hún Sigurfinni Jakobssyni f. 2.11.1891 - 21.2.1987 og bjuggu þau fyrst á Kornsá í Vatnsdal. Vorið 1933 fluttu þau að Hurðarbaki á Ásum, fyrst sem leigjendur, en seinna sem eigendur jarðarinnar og voru þau alltaf kennd við þann bæ.
Eignuðust þau 5 börn, þau eru:
1) Sigurlaug Sigurfinnsdóttir f. 29. nóvember 1929 maður hennar Kristinn Breiðfjörð Eiríksson f. 21. október 1928 Var í Garði , Ingjaldshólssókn, Snæf. 1930.
2) Óskar Sigurfinnsson f. 29. ágúst 1931, bóndi Meðalheimi, kona hans; Guðný Þórarinsdóttir f 1. ágúst 1943 Var í Árbæ, Blönduóshr., A-Hún. 1957.
3) Björn Sigurfinnsson f. 29. mars 1933 - 22. mars 1987 Bóndi Hurðarbaki í Torfalækjahreppi kona hans Guðrún Anna Pálsdóttir f. 24. september 1943 - 6. september 2014 Hvassafelli, Blönduósi 1957. Húsfreyja á Hurðabaki á Ásum, síðar saumakona á Blönduósi, starfaði síðar við umönnun í Reykjavík.
4) Jakob Sigurfinnsson f. 7. febrúar 1935 - 27. mars 1966 Bóndi að Hurðabaki, Torfalækjarhreppi. Ókvæntur.
5) Guðrún Sigurfinnsdóttir f. 9. júní 1937 sjúkraliði Reykjavík, ógift.
Barnabörnin urðu 11, en eitt þeirra er nú látið og barnabarnabörnin eru orðin 14.
