Páll Sesilíus Eyþórsson fæddist á Blönduósi 3. júní 1919. Hann andaðist á Landspítalanum við Hringbraut laugardaginn 20. júlí síðastliðinn. Var á Auðkúlu, Svínavatnssókn, Hún. 1920. Var á Grund, Auðkúlusókn, A-Hún. 1930. Fósturmóðir Ragnhildur Sveinsdóttir. Var í Hvassafelli, Blönduóshr., A-Hún. 1957. Síðar búsettur í Reykjavík um tíma en flutti þaðan til Grindavíkur. Starfaði við þar mest við fiskvinnslu.
Útför Páls verður gerð frá Grindavíkurkirkju í dag 26. júlí 2002 og hefst athöfnin klukkan 14.
