History
Víðidalsfjallið er hátt og tignarlegt og sést víða að úr Húnaþingi. Undir fjallinu liggur grösug sveit Víðidals og víða er blómleg byggð og fagurt heim að bæjum að líta. Hæsti tindur fjallsins er Hrossakambur sagður vera 993 m yfir sjávarmáli. Ásmundarnúpur er nyrsti tindur fjallsins og litlu sunnar er Rauðkollur, en upp á hann liggur mjög skemmtileg en brött og krefjandi gönguleið frá bænum Jörfa. Þá er gengið um Gálgagil sem sagt er að hafi verið aftökustaður fyrir margt löngu.
